May 28, is celebrated as International day of action for Women’s health day. The main objective of this day is to raise awareness on the issues related to women’s health such as Sexual & Reproductive health.
Simple steps to be healthy & happy:
· Try managing stress:
Stress is part and parcel of life. Now we can’t just cut stress off from your life but you can learn to manage it. Find ways to learn from it, let go and move on, no matter what it takes. Face your stresses – everyone has that share of overcoming it.
· Find a diet you can live with:
Many of us want to have a thin waist & low weight. Instead of losing weight focus on being healthy. Focus on eating good food and your weight will take care of itself. Just control on your portion size and take out time for workout or a nice long walk. This could also be your “me time” & thus will do good for your mind & body.
· Get a good sleep:
Please sleep enough. It is very important for our healing hormones to do their work as you need to be energized for the next day which will also have its challenges. Sleep also helps to boost memory, relax your cells. Most of us suffer disease conditions because of insufficient sleep.
· Love yourself
It’s rightly said, be gentle and love yourself. Find out all the things which you love about yourself that makes you unique. Find time for yourself so that you won’t feel frustrated from life. When you are in your happy space, oxytocin (happy hormone) is released which makes us feel more happy.
· Be positive
Positive emotions bring us far greater joy than pain ever could and eventually the pain will pass; it always does. Don’t let negativity put you down. Every situation has a positive side, try and figure out.
Make your own health a priority woman, as no one else will do it for you. Please learn to put yourself first.
